had a hard time doing this as i am not a "ladies' shoes person nor a bag person" always preferred sneakers and my worn out birks over heels :) had to search the net for some shoe designs. next time maybe i could do better with this one :)

princess cupcakes for vaishnave

individually packed nutella flavored cupcakes with pink princess theme for shanti's daughter vaishnave on her 8th birthday.

i don't eat nutella but i'm starting to love the nutella flavored cupcake. just the scent of hazelnuts and chocolates makes me want to finish the cupcakes even without frosting. this flavor goes great with nutella swiss meringue buttercream :)

sorry for the blurred pics was rushing to deliver it, also since i only have a digicam the macro shots are not that good esp when there's no sunlight and no tripod :(

care bears cuppies

i was or still is a fan of the care bears show, i used to watch it as a kid. the carebears i remember were a litlle bit fluffier, but when i searched the net to look for pictures i saw that they have overgone a major revamp just like strawberry shortcake. today's carebear are less fluffy but still cute as ever :)

with nothing to do on a long holiday (chinese new year), i baked this mamon for our merienda or snack :) good thing both hubby and macoy enjoyed the soft buttery texture of this mamon.

taj mahal cupcakes

chocolate cupcakes with ganache frosting with edible taj mahal topper

hazel and mona went to india last christmas and was amazed by their journey especially to the taj mahal. hazel ordered this cuppies as a gift to mona who thought it would be wonderful if someone could give her a taj mahal cake.

i wish i could go there to someday :) hubby's been there and says it was a sight to see

train cake for marco

another super rushed cake for my son's birthday. cake was done in less than 4 hours including the baking and everything. sometimes i wish i have some help around :) in between frying the lumpiang shanghai, doing the prawns and coating the chicken i tried finishing my son's birthday cake. wouldn't want to disappoint him as he's an avid train fanatic.

i was hoping that our visitors would arrive late so i would have time to finish the cake but to my disappointment most arrive early :( i even forgot to take photos with my camera because i can't find it, have to settle with my phone's cam.

anyways, the cake is a chocolate fudge cake with chocolate swiss meringue buttercream and marshmallow fondant.

i almost cancelled on this order as both of my kids are sick. but i thought of how my kid will feel if they won't have any cake on their birthday so i decided to find time to do it. in between taking care o the kids last night (my little girl is so grumpy and clingy when she's sick so i have to stay by her side and let her sleep ), i managed to finish the cake and the cupcakes just in time for delivery. forgot to take photos of the cuppies as i was rushing to the party.
